Search on the platform

The search option is designed to help people find information stored on Streaming platform website. The search type implemented into Streaming platform is a natural search.

A natural language search interprets the search string as a phrase in natural human language (a phrase in free text). There are no special operators. The stop-word list applies. In addition, words that are present in 50% or more of the rows are considered common and do not match. Full-text searches are natural language searches if no modifier is given.

The search results will not display the words that have less than 3 characters, they will be ignored.

Factors such as link popularity and page rank have a significant impact on your natural search results. As a text is more searched, it will be displayed on top of other search results.

Using the Search feature you can look for specific content or information on the platform or in the manual:

1. Type here the text of the item you want to search.

2. Click here to start the search.

3. Check this radio button if you want to perform the search in Channels.

4. Check this radio button if you want to perform the search in Radios.

5. Check this radio button if you want to perform the search in Videos.

6. Check this radio button if you want to perform the search in Broadcasters.

7. Check this radio button if you want to perform the search in the Manual.

 

Once the search completed, the Results page will be displayed:

1. Here you can see the results of your search (a channel in the example picture above).

2. Here you can see the text you searched and you can insert a new text to search.

3. Click here to start a new search.

4. Here you can see the number of results found in Channels names and description.

Note: click on the desired section and the page with complete results will open.

5. Here you can see the number of results found in Radio names and description.

6. Here you can see the number of results found in Videos names and description.

7. Here you can see the number of results found in Broadcasters usernames and description.

8. Here you can see the number of results found in the Manual.

Note: the search in the manual will display the titles of the manual pages that contain the text you inserted. Click on the link and you will be redirected to the manual page.
